Less than 30 pounds of x-ray film for recycling in Decatur, AL

Important notice, In Alabama x-ray film is considered hazardous waste due to the silver content and is illegal to throw in the trash. Proper disposal through recycling is required to reclaim the silver and prevent environmental contamination.

If you have less than 30 of x-ray film we can still pick-up your x-ray film and recycle it, there will be a pick-up fee of $30.00 which will include a the pick-up and recycling of the x-rays film.
You will need to put all of your film in one box. The box should weigh up to 30 lbs

When paying the pick-up fee you can leave the film in the envelopes, however, this only refers to medical film, if you have dental film, it must be out of jackets completely.

The pick-up fee of $30.00 is for pick-up of x-ray film under 30 lbs in Decatur and also the same for the entire state of Alabama. If you have over of x-ray film, the pick-up is free.
